Medvedev is one of the most unconventional players in the top-10. He hits flat, early, and with exceptional placement — his forehand and backhand are struck from an unusually upright stance, which gives his balls a flat, skidding trajectory opponents struggle to read.
He is perhaps the best server on tour in terms of placement. His ability to find the lines consistently while varying spin and pace makes him extremely hard to read. His return of serve is elite.
