- Natural Gut at 22–25 kg
De Minaur's setup is very accessible for club players. The Ultra V5 is forgiving and easy to play with. Luxilon 4G is one of the most popular polys on tour — durable, consistent, and playable across a wide range of tensions. Try it at 21–24 kg (46–53 lbs) for comfortable results.

Platform
De Minaur is the fastest mover on tour — his court coverage and retrieval skills are his defining weapons. Where most top-10 players win by hitting through opponents, de Minaur wins by running everything down and waiting for openings.
He plays a high-volume, low-unforced-error game. His groundstrokes are consistent rather than dominant, and his best shots come when he's been pushed wide and uses his speed to recover and redirect.
How his equipment supports his style: The Wilson Ultra V5 is a stable, arm-friendly frame well suited to a counter-puncher who hits thousands of balls per match. Luxilon 4G is a durable poly — important for a player who retrieves as many balls as de Minaur does.
